Siddhar's Wisdom

"If the horses are drinking, drink that water. The horse will never drink dirty water."   "Roll out your bed where the cat sleeps. The cat will not sleep in a noisy place."  "Eat worm infested fruits. Worms do not bite poisonous fruits." "Eat mushrooms where insects sit. Poisonous mushrooms are not eaten by insects." "The tree can be planted in the pit dug by the rabbits. The tree will flourish." "Dig a well where the birds rest to avoid the heat and you will definitely get water." "Sleep when birds are asleep and wake up when they are awake. Everything you touch will succeed."   "Swim in the water like a fish. When you walk on land, you will feel like a fish when they are in water." "Often look up at the sky. Light and clarity will be born in your thoughts."  "Be very calm and talk a little. Silence will beat in your heart. Your soul will always be at peace." "Eat more natural food...

I am lucky, I am safe, I am here  I am able to breath, I am able to see, I am able to hear I am able to feel, I am able to taste, I can speak I am at the present, I am blessed. Life have been very tough. It could have been worse Yet here I am moving on. I have been cheated and abused, It could  have been worse Yet here I am falling forward. Failed,  embarrassed, lost and wounded Still holding on to that twig Never let go, hold just a bit longer I tell myself, we will survive.

Trees and Sky - Just trying my photography skills     I am happy. Am I lying to myself? I am confused but recently I have been spending more time observing things around me - the clouds, the cool breeze, tree leaves and tall grasses moving along with it, beautiful sunny days and occasional rain, animals and birds. Observing all this I ask myself : Why didn’t I see them before? Where was I?  Life is beautiful.  After a long time I am back in my hometown and I am happy here, parents and friends so close to me and I could eat the most delicious home cooked food.  So peaceful and silent nature, it is a gift to people who spend a very long time in cities.  The hugs and friendly fights with friends, spending time with them, eating out and sitting silently at the cliff watching the city below.  All is colourful but I must say that I am also going through a tough time. It's been awhile since I felt completely peaceful inside. I am concerned about 100 things ab...

The one and only Ebenezer " King Ebby " Mamabolo

Ebenezer Mamabolo  I would like to share about someone. A man I know but never met in person, he is a certified and licensed facilitator, coach, speaker and teacher with The John Maxwell Team. We have a long story behind our small friendship.  It was in the year 2014, I was going through a tough day. All my plans have failed and I was lost, that day evening after dinner, I was depressed and sad about how hard life has been lately. I couldn’t make a decision. Alone in my room, the very room where I am writing this blog. That night I logged in to Facebook and there was a group for people who were depressed and sad. The group was filled with a lot of people sharing their problems. So  I shared my problems and thoughts too, after a few mins  came a comment to my post, it was King Ebby from South Africa. Isn’t it a miracle?  The technology these days, we could talk with people around the world in real time.   An encouraging message to me t...

It's Just A Drink | Harison Xavier

It's Just A Drink  My thoughts on a problem that we are facing for more than few thousand years. Yes, Alcohol. I am writing this to find where we can stand when it comes to drinking, and if we could find a middle ground. I am trying to come to a conclusion using the stories of few of my friends and from the books and experiences of people. You might have heard this before, "it's just a drink", "just this one drink", "this is the last one" , "One last peg" , "I am stopping this today".  I have seen many of my friends who say this, they all wanted to stop at some point, but they never did or never could. They all started drinking just for fun or relaxation. Relaxation from what? A few were going through a very tough time in their lives. I had my first taste of alcohol when I was very young at the age less than ten. My dad poured a bit in a glass and mixed it with a lot of water and told me to taste it. It was so bitter. Yuck! We h...
