Corona Virus and Our Future

Introduction

                                                I had E-Business lecture and group discussion yesterday with my classmates in Zoom app. From a regular classroom to an online session. I don't like to have an online session normally, it takes away my desire to have face to face conversations with my professor and pals. One and the main topic we discussed was the present situation of Covid-19 or Corona virus pandemic.

I saw that most people are worried for obvious reasons and there is fear in the session. I believe that I was the only one who is happy.

                                I understand that we the world are suffering, but what makes me happy is my belief or hope for the future. All I could visualize is a greater advancement to humans. Covid-19 would be a milestone in coming years. This intense pandemic and the chaos people going through will make our future great.

Class session

                     This would be one of the darkest times human history have ever gone through, where almost all humans are locked up in their own homes. In my class I saw the frustration of few members regarding the economy, being confined in their own homes and business situation. Yes, that's normal to be worried and frustrated at times like these. 

                I got an opportunity to give my opinion, my first words were, "Sir, I am I happy". This might have raised a few eyebrows as it's an online class and I can't see any other students I am not sure what was the reaction. 

We will survive

          What I wanted to show is that " We have been here before, our ancestors have faced ever darker times than these. We are going through a tough time and this will not last longer, we will survive and we will have a great victory over this pandemic."  

                                                            I feel like I have been here before. Back in 2008, when we had sub-prime crisis people were worried too. Not as worried as now, but lot of people lost their jobs, businesses . Students didn't wanted to take up engineering as companies are sending firing employees across the world. 

                                    This time it is the same economic downfall but with a different problem - a pandemic. 

Business

                  Corona virus pandemic, is an opportunity in disguise. The stock markets are down, this is the biggest opportunity to look for some great companies to invest for a the long term.   I see a bull run in the near future. Companies who have executed strategic planning in these times have a great future.

Good ones will survive. 

As Warren Buffet said " Only when the tide goes out do you discover who is been swimming naked."

Business is ruthless and only the toughest will survive this fall.

The People and Our Future

Will people change?

My answer is No. Deep down we are still that careless soul no matter how many pandemic we face. I have seen this pattern in so many situations in the past. A great disaster comes by and most people respond to the situation positively and shows great care and concern to each other. Once the hard times is behind us, then comes out the dark nature of each humans and that hate, revenge and anger that was stored inside will come into picture.

                      And yes, some people "Learn". They learn to treat each other with love and respect. The learn the social norms on how to go about in life with unity and peace.

Conclusion 

                 Life is hard, it always was, and it will be always. So do business. What I could give you to take away is that we can "learn and never forget our mistakes." Love and care for one another and treat each other as we treat ourselves. I see a great future to humanity, Corona virus pandemic will be a milestone in history. 

New innovations in medical and business will be coming out soon. Better economic and social policies will be implemented for the betterment of humans around the world. 

Let the world be great, let we humans live in peace and love with one another. Let our future be great like never before. God be with us. God bless the world.
